The School District of Lee County is hosting a Virtual Teacher Recruitment Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. to recruit classroom teachers for the 2024-25 academic year.

To be considered for a teaching position, candidates must either hold a valid standard teaching certificate (Florida or out-of-state), be expected to graduate from a college of education by December 2024, or hold a bachelor’s degree in any area. High-demand positions include English, elementary education, science, math and special education.
