Todd Everly is a second generation enforcement officer who began his career in public safety in 1983 with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Todd Everly began his career in public safety in 1983 with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, following his father’s footsteps. His father Val was the first full time law enforcement officer in Lee County. In 1984, he joined the Cape Coral Police Department serving as a trainer, accreditation and professional stand supervisor, major crimes detective, SWAT team member and SWAT commander. Todd is currently the Director of the Southwest Florida Public Service Academy for Police, Fire & Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and advanced training for public safety personnel.
