Cape Coral Jubilee Wraps Up With Family Friendly Day in Cultural Park

The Cape Coral Historical Museum - 544 Cultural Park Blvd, Cape Coral, has planned a special send-off to 2020, which was the jubilee year for the city, celebrating 50 years. To officially close out the festivities, the museum, along with the city of Cape Coral, will host a family-friendly day in Cultural Park - 528 Cultural Park Boulevard, Cape Coral.

"The year 2020 has been like none other, and we are ready for things to feel 'normal' again," the museum's website says. "As we plan our events for 2021, we wanted to give 2020 a special send-off."

Friday evening, Jan. 16, 2021, a special showing of Grease, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, will be played in the park just behind the museum.

"Join us as we sing along to one of our favorite family films," the website continues. "Bring your friends and families out to shake off the 2020 blues and enjoy great food, wonderful music, and fascinating history."

The museum will be open before the movie for families to tour and food trucks and concession stands will be on site.
