Physicians' Primary Care (PPC) of Southwest Florida is currently seeking new employees for a variety of positions in three of their locations; Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres.

Physicians' Primary Care is celebrating 25 years (see our article from March 2021) as a physician-owned and operated medical practice. Their medical services are provided by physicians in three specialties, including pediatrics, internal medicine, and family practice.

PPC was also named “Top Doctors" (see our article from May 2021) in Lehigh Acres and is the “largest physician-owned and managed multi-specialty primary care group in Lee County” according to their website.

Human Resources Manager, Melissa, speaks fondly of her time with PPC. She states her favorite part of working there is “The people who make up PPC and how we impact each other and our community every single day. It takes a remarkable group of people to work so closely together and for a cause as important as helping our patients with their health goals and challenges. Each of us provides our talents and our resources to meet our patient needs. The last two years in the medical care field have been demanding. But, we face every day with renewed energy and a fresh perspective. It says a lot about our organization.”

PPC encourages all of its employees to grow through their practices, as they allow transfers to other positions, departments, and locations as their employees’ needs change. “On top of that, we offer a selection of benefits ranging from; health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, a retirement program, continuing education, and paid leave. We proudly host an annual Employee Appreciation Week each summer and other events and programs throughout the year,” Melissa states.

Once applied, applicants can expect the Human Resources department to review their application. “Human Resources reviews each application received - it's over 2,500 applications a year! We make every effort to match the right candidate to the best position based on their talents. Initial interviews are with Human Resources, giving candidates a better feel for our organization as a whole. If selected, the candidate will have a second interview with the hiring supervisor, allowing the candidate to meet the team they will be working with and learn about the details of the position. We feel this approach helps potential employees see the whole picture before they get to decision time,” according to Melissa.
