There’s good news for SunSplash lovers! The Park officially opened for the season on Saturday, March 18, to kick off Spring Break. There’s more good news!

“2023 will be the Park’s longest season ever, as we will be open through Thanksgiving weekend. We are also extending our operating hours on select summer nights. Our special summer hours run from May 25-September 4,” explains Chief Marketing Officer Ron Mckenzie.

Plus, Easter Celebration on Sunday, April 8, offers a whole lot of fun including a huge Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. A special event is also in store for Mother’s Day Weekend, May 13 and 14. Moms get a free ticket and a special Hawaiian-themed gift. Plus, they’ll enjoy specially-priced Momosas all weekend long.

The 14-acre park offers something for water lovers of all ages and all levels.  Thrill seekers will enjoy the Terror Tube, Thunder Bump, and X-Cellerator. Those looking to relax can cruise down the gentle, quarter- mile Main Stream River Tube Ride that winds its way around the park. Families can enjoy the Family Pool with fine sand and beach chairs. Young adventurers can head to the Pirate’s Cove to swim, slide, shoot off blasters, and enjoy gushers and geysers. Young people who like challenging their strength and agility can check out the Sand Dollar Walk. They might also enjoy the Pro Racers, as these child-size slides offer big thrills for the little ones. Afterwards, or in between the fun, there’s SunSplash Dining with refreshments, adult beverages, and assortment of snacks, food including burgers, hot dogs and pizza, and sweet treats, such as frozen cookie doughs and mini-melts.

Rides are based by height and the lifeguards are all certified for safety. Season Passes to the Park are available and include perks like unlimited visits, early entry, and discounts. New this year is the Pineapple Pass, that offers even more perks. Cape Coral residents will receive $5.00 off one-day admission when the ticket is purchased at the gate with an ID showing residency, such as a driver’s license. So jump right in as you don’t miss out on the water fun!
