Invest in America’s Veterans Foundation-Florida, Inc.’s mission is to serve our Veterans by providing a helping hand in getting back into mainstream USA. Our commitment is to serve veterans and their families from every generation. Unfortunately, many Veterans are unaware of all the benefits that they are entitled to. The facts for existing and returning Veterans seeking benefits are shockingly lacking. There is limited federal help available for veterans, their spouses, and family. And that is only gained by the most informed in a federal system that is very slow. Here at the Foundation, we can inform the Veterans and help them obtain those benefits. Unfortunately, many Veterans are unaware of all the benefits that they are entitled to. The facts for existing and returning Veterans seeking benefits are shockingly lacking. Invest in America’s Veterans Foundation-Florida, Inc. (IAVF-FL) collaborates with federal, state, local government agencies, employers, housing providers, faith-based organizations, community non-profits and others to expand employment, healthcare, basic needs and affordable housing options for veterans and their dependents. Our office houses three Certified Veterans Service Officers from three different local organizations, American Legion Post 90, DAV Chapter 108, and VFW Post 8463. We provide FREE services to Veterans and their families in need of assistance. IAVF-FL is a volunteer force the serves Lee County and surrounding areas of Southwest Florida. IAVF-Fl works closely with our community partners. While we proactively seek out veterans in need of assistance, we work with our local community and other non-profits that provide necessities and basic needs to non-veteran families and individuals. We participate in community events, food drives/giveaways, school supply and holiday gift giveaways for the entire community.
